SEVENTH ANNUAL DARWINIAN SCIENCES

CLUSTER RETREAT

September 27, 2019

Promontory Point Field House

Welcome

Welcome to the seventh annual Darwinian cluster retreat! The

retreat will consist of lightning talks, recreational activities, a

keynote talk, and, of course, food and beverages. The goal is to

get to know each other, have fun, and hopefully learn a thing or

two. We are excited to welcome Cynthia Moss as this year’s

keynote speaker.

Lightning talks

Each lightning talk will last five minutes and will be a highlevel

overview of a research project or program. Each session of

lightning talks will be followed by a 20 minute discussion,

during which members of the audience can ask questions about

the talks in the session. Lightning talks are fun as well as

informative, and the short format will allow us to cover the

breadth of research in the Darwinian Cluster.
